The goal of this project was to create a physical music player with a voice-controlled display. I designed a record player that can automatically change vinyl records, allowing the user to listen continuously without interruption.

The design uses a minimal grey color palette to let the vinyl cover art become the main visual focus. By working with variables in Figma, I created a structured system for colors and spacing that kept the interface consistent and easy to update. Using different variable modes also allowed me to quickly implement both light and dark display themes.

The aesthetic draws inspiration from retro-futuristic design and classic products from Braun, Sony, and Apple. Through studying their confident proportions, intuitive controls, and restrained design language, I developed a concept that aims to feel both luxurious, simple, and timeless.
